Reliable Home & Pet Care.

Hello and welcome to my home & pet care website. My name is Patty Hulse, owner of Reliable Home & Pet Care. I started pet sitting part-time in 1985 while working full-time for Apple Computer in Campbell, CA. I've loved animals my whole life. I grew up with dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, tropical fish aquariums, lizards, rats, guinea pigs, turtles & hamsters. We even had a duck and a baby billie goat at one time. I must say, my house was never a dull moment. At present, I own two sweet female Maltese, Tea' Rose & Sasha, a 55 galllon aquarium with African Cichlids and a 20 gallon aquarium with tropical fish. I moved to our beautiful desert from the San Jose, CA area in 1994 and started my home & pet care business in 1996. Taking the best care of you pets is my top priority.

The Tea' Rose Story

Tea' Rose is one very special little girl! She was a very sick puppy with pneumonia, parasites and was in two comas. Dr. Gary Robert's saved Tea' Rose's life. I provided day cared for Tea' Rose along with her Schnauzer sister Isabella Rose at my home 5 days a week while their owner worked. On May 28th, 2005, workers left the front door open at Tea's Rancho Mirage home and Tea' went on a little journey. Tea's owner ran ads in the Desert Sun for two weeks offering a huge reward with no results. Tea's owner was so upset and distraught that she drove to Los Angeles and bought another Maltese puppy. On May 5th, Tea' was still missing. I put up flyers and posters all over town to no avail. Tea' Rose's owner had left the desert on planned vacation to Mexico while I continued the search for Tea'. The fact that someone had Tea' and didn't take her to Animal Control to get her scanned, or to let Animal Control know they found her, just made me CRAZY!!!! After Tea' Rose was missing 3 weeks, I put up a Lamar billboard on May 18th, 2005. I had Tea' Rose in my arms on May 20th, 2005. A lady named Maria found Tea', and was going to keep her. Maria's friend Ruben saw the billboard and told her, Maria called me and brought Tea' to me. Tea's owner now had a 4 month old Maltese and a 8 month old Maltese along with her 2 year old Miniature Schnauzer. Three dogs with two of them puppies was just to much for Tea's owner, Rita. Rita asked me if I would like to have Tea' and I said yes! I'm now the proud owner of a little 8 pound PISTOL named Tea' Rose. Tea' Rose is one very special little girl!
